PSA Technology Overview
PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) Technology represents a revolution in non-cryogenic air separation and oxygen generation. The process uses special grade Zeolite Molecular Sieve (ZMS) in twin tower PSA modules with automatic change-over valves. Compressed air passes through a refrigerated dryer for moisture removal, then contacts the ZMS bed where nitrogen molecules are preferentially adsorbed, producing high-purity oxygen that is collected in a surge vessel.
