Product Description:
The GYTC8S armoured loose tube fiber optic cable, It is designed with single-mode/multimode fibers that are positioned in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound, which provides protection against moisture and other environmental factors.
A steel wire is located at the center of the core as a metallic strength member, which gives the cable superior strength and durability. The tubes and fillers are stranded around the strength member to create a compact and circular cable core. Once a PSP (polyester tape) is applied around the cable core, this part of the cable, along with the stranded wires as the supporting part, is completed with a PE sheath to be a figure-8 structure.
The armored design of the GYTC8S cable provides additional protection against damage from external factors, such as rodents and harsh weather conditions. This makes it ideal for outdoor installations, including aerial, duct, and direct-buried applications.
