Cross tapered roller bearing is a variation of cross cylindrical roller bearing. During working, its tapered rolling elements do pure rolling movement without relative skidding, hence the limit speed of this kind of bearing is far higher than that of cross cylindrical roller bearing, while the friction moment is lower.

Mounting of crossed tapered roller bearing

1.Before installation, please clean bearing bracket, shaft, or other components, make sure there is no burrs or rough edge.

2.According to above figure, standard installation process on a platform is in the follow order: (1+4)→6→(2+5)→8→3→7. But since BRS cross tapered roller bearings are pre-tightened by bolts, users only need to install 6&7 mounting flange to the base with screw.

4.To ensure bearings' good performance and service life, following points require particular attention: sufficient & correct lubricating, periodic inspection of lubricating system, operation below specified parameters, avoid impact load as far as possible.
