Here are some common types of cable fittings used for throttle cables on motorcycles:

• Barrel Adjusters - Threaded fitting that attaches to the cable housing end. Allows fine tuning of cable tension by threading the cable in and out. Often placed where the cable housing meets the throttle tube.

• Swaged Ends - The cable is inserted into a metal ferrule and compressed/shaped to hold it firmly in place. Provides a clean, sealed end that won't pull through. Common on the engine/carburetor side connection.
