Guardrail Blocker refers to a prevention block, blocker ,block-out. In some places, it is known as a “Spacer” or a “Separator”. It refers to the part between guardrail and post,and with many different shapes or designs. The block itself is an energy absorbing part,so it could make the guardrail deform gradually during the sudden collisions. This is conducive to energy absorption, it helps reduce occupant casualties; at the same time, the block could allocate the crash energy to the guardrail and post, thereby increasing the overall strength and tension of the guardrail system.The guardrail block is installed between the guardrail and the post with the function of energy absorbing. If there is no block, vehicles are forced to stop through the deformation of the guardrail, the post and the roadbed.
The box-shaped anti-blocking block, has a similar appearance to a box, this is achieved by steel belt punching formed after welding. After it is hot dip galvanized, it's surface is clean, has anti-corrosion, and it has a trapezoidal shaped surface. After the blocker has undergone all the processes it now has strong bearing capacity, impact resistance, it can resist the collision of out-of-control vehicles, and it can effectively prevent vehicles or pedestrians from going out of the road. The box block is usually used in combination with the C-shaped post to support the guardrail. One end of the box is connected to the C-shaped post and the other end is connected to the guardrail plate to act as a bond.
