1. Conditioned sludge flows into the filter chamber from the flocculation tank and is pushed toward the discharging end
2. Water separates from sludge as the gap between shaft threads increases, flowing out through moving and fixed ring gaps
3. Moving and fixed rings self-clean to prevent machine blockage
4. Filtered sludge cakes are pushed forward by the shaft and discharged

As thickened sludge moves to the dewatering zone, the gradually narrowing gaps between rings and screw pitch increase pressure to enhance dewatering efficiency.
