Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) is a water treatment process that clarifies wastewaters by removing suspended matter such as oil or solids. 4. Microbubbles adhere to flocs, forming particles that float to the surface
5. Scum is scraped to the slag tank while clean water is collected below
6. Most water is discharged while a portion is recirculated to form dissolved water
