Dissolved Air Flotation DAF System with 3600*1700*1850mm Specification 3kw Dissolved Pump Power and 0.1kw Skimmer for Wastewater Treatment
The Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system is a water treatment process that clarifies wastewaters by removing suspended matter such as oil or solids. This is achieved by dissolving air in the water under pressure and then releasing it at atmospheric pressure in a flotation tank. The released air forms microbubbles that adhere to suspended particles, causing them to float to the surface where they can be removed by a skimming device.
1. Wastewater enters RT1 (coagulation reaction tank) and RT2 (flocculation reaction tank) from the equalization tank through the lift pump, where it coagulates with PAC and flocculates with PAM to form flocs.
2. The wastewater and dissolved water then enter the reaction zone of the DAF tank, where microbubbles and flocs mix and adhere to form solid particles with density less than water.
3. These particles float to the surface and are scraped into the slag tank, while clean water is collected below and either discharged or recirculated.
- Microbubble generation for efficient particle removal
- Subsurface capture technology
- Automatic slagging controlled by liquid level
- Non-clogging release mechanism with high efficiency
- Municipal sewage treatment
- Slaughter house wastewater
- Metallurgical industry wastewater
- Spraying sewage
- Printing & dyeing sewage
- Metal-processing sewage
- Mining stone wastewater
- Electronic sewage treatment
Consider these factors when selecting a DAF system:
- Wastewater type (dairy, car washing, slaughter house, food processing, river water, etc.)
- Suspended solids (SS) content (ppm or mg/L)
- Oil, grease, fat, and FOG content (ppm or mg/L)
- pH level (6-9 preferred; otherwise consider pH adjustment)
- BOD and COD levels (ppm or mg/L)
