Product Introduction
Muscovite Mica, whose chemical formula is KAl2(AlSi3O10)(OH)2, is the most common mineral of the mica family. Global mica consumption is up to 1 million tons and 90% is Muscovite Mica. It has obvious layered structure and it is fairly light and relatively soft.
Mica is a group of aluminum silicate minerals with layer-structure, and rich in elements of potassium (K), aluminum(Al), magnesium and lithium etc. Dolomite (White Mica) is one of the similar sub-categories in mica group. It is transparent with no color or light color, and possesses the glass’s shine. Its Mohs hardness is about 2-2.5, specific density is 2.7-3.5. Dolomite possesses lots of excellent properties, for example electric insulating, high temperature proof, acid and alkali resist, and corrosion proof etc.
