Features of Black Board
Black cardboard, alternatively termed black kraft board, is primarily manufactured from 100% virgin wood pulp or FSC-certified recycled pulp (≥85% PCR). Featuring deep-layer pulp dyeing technology, it achieves permanent dual-sided black coloration (ΔE≤1.5), earning the designation "transparent black cardboard" due to its core-through hue consistency. Variants include single/double-side transparent grades. As an exceptionally robust substrate (250-600gsm), it delivers:
Uniform Pigmentation: Core-to-surface dye penetration eliminating fiber exposure
Structural Rigidity: Stiffness 18-28 N·m/g (ISO 5628) & folding endurance >150 MIT cycles
Premium Surface: Ultra-smooth finish (≤2.0μm Parker) ensuring press runnability >12k sheets/hour
Print Versatility: Offset/gravure compatibility (dot gain ≤12%) with hot foil/UV varnish adhesion
