Features of Carbonless Paper/NCR Paper

1.  Since this paper is made without carbon material, it is named carbonless paper. It is mainly used for business forms (such as invoices and receipts) and pressure-sensitive computer printing paper. It is a special paper often used in finance, finance, insurance, telecommunications, logistics, express delivery companies and other fields for multiple rewriting.
2.〈Generally, the most commonly used is the color-developing carbonless copy paper, which is generally composed of three types of paper, namely upper paper, middle paper and lower paper, carbonless copy paper (Carbonless Copy Paper, CCP for short).
A. The upper paper is also called back-coated paper (code CB, i.e. Coated Back), and the back of the paper is coated with microcapsules containing Limin pigment oil;
B. The middle paper is also called front and back double-coated paper (code CFB, i.e. Coated Front and Back), the front of the paper is coated with a color developer, and the back is coated with microcapsules containing Limin pigment oil;
C. The lower paper is also called front-coated paper (code CF, i.e. Coated Front), and the paper surface is only coated with a color developer.
3. Principle: The chemical coating containing colorant and developer is evenly coated on the CB and CF surfaces of carbonless paper. Under a certain pressure (forced writing and printing impact), the microcapsules on the CB surface are broken, the colorless solvent overflows, and chemically reacts with the developer on the CF surface, thereby showing clear images and text.

Application of Carbonless Paper/NCR Paper

Carbonless paper is widely used in offices, commerce, education and other fields due to its clear, durable and rewritable characteristics.

Print on the upper layer of carbon paper, and you can make copies without using the carbon paper with ink. Carbonless copy paper is mostly used for formal documents with legal effect, such as invoices, contracts, and treaties.
