Features of Carbonless Paper/NCR Paper
Carbonless paper is treated on both sides with microencapsulated chemistry—CF (front coating) and CB (back coating). Writing or printing pressure fractures the CB capsules, releasing dye that instantly reacts with the CF layer to form a sharp image on the front sheet—no carbon paper needed. Since the reaction is self-contained, no impression ever appears on the reverse.
