How It Works

Coated Layers: The paper is chemically coated on the back (CB - Coated Back) of the top sheet and the front (CF - Coated Front) of the bottom sheet.

Middle Sheets (CFB): For multi-part forms, intermediate sheets are coated on both sides (CFB - Coated Front and Back).

Pressure Transfer: When written or printed on, the pressure causes a chemical reaction, transferring the image to the sheets below.
