Features of Clay Coated Cupstock Paper
1. Compared with traditional polyethylene (PE) coating, clay coating has no risk of plasticization, has higher surface gloss (up to 80-90% Gloss value), and feels closer to ceramic.
2. It can withstand high temperatures of 85-95°C (such as hot coffee) and short-term contact with 100°C liquid without leakage (ASTM F1868 test standard).
Application of Clay Coated Cupstock Paper
1. Special shape containers: through die-cutting process, special-shaped cups (such as cone ice cream cups) are made, and the stiffness supports complex structures.
2. High-temperature beverages: Improve heat resistance by increasing coating thickness (such as double coating), suitable for freshly ground coffee and hot chocolate.
