Measurement Guidelines:
- Maintain proper distance-to-spot ratio (12:1) for accurate readings
- Measurement area increases proportionally with distance
- For liquid measurements, avoid smoke/steam and use 45-60 degree angle
- Cannot measure internal object temperatures
- Designed for inanimate objects only - human/animal readings will be inaccurate
