FIRE STOPPING PUTTY PAD
Putty Pads are non-curing, 7" x 7" x 1/8" moldable pads that are applied to the backside of electrical boxes to maintain the
integrity of 1 & 2 hour fire rated gypsum walls. In fire conditions, putty pads expand to form an intumescent char that encloses the electrical box and seals of any openings that may allow the spread of flame, smoke, and toxic gases. Putty Pads have been UL tested and classified as material for wall openings for up to 2 hours.
