Alnico magnets are produced by sintering or casting using a mixture of aluminum, nickel, and cobalt. Iron, copper, or titanium are added to enhance the magnetic force. These elements are combined with iron, copper and sometimes titanium to create permanent magnets that are excellent for
high-temperature use and offer good corrosion resistance.

Cast alnico magnets can be custom designed and manufactured into complex shapes, configurations, and forms, which is not possible with sintering. Whether sintering or casting is used, alnico magnets are too brittle and hard to be cold worked and must be formed using heated raw materials.

Alnico 5 is the grade most widely used, but we also offer Alnico 2, 5, 5-7, 7, 8 and 9. In-house cutting and grinding are provided to meet your application requirements. Magnetic circuit design assistance to enable you to choose the proper material and the appropriate size magnet to perform the task you require. The shape and size are various, including square, circle, circle, round bar, horseshoe and suction parts.
