Product Description
A cast iron filter press is a type of industrial equipment used for separating solids from liquids. The press consists of a series of filter plates and a frame, both made of cast iron. The plates are covered with filter cloth and are arranged in a stack, with spaces between them for the liquid to flow through. The frame applies pressure to the plates, squeezing the liquid out and leaving behind a solid cake. The cake is then removed from the plates and disposed of, while the filtered liquid is collected for further processing.
