The string wound filter cartridge is a depth filter with high-performing fiber thread that is tightly wound on a porous center core (with either PP or SS hole tube). This forms a honeycomb structure with an outside structure that is sparse, and a dense inner structure. It is used in power plant condensate iron removal, either with or without resin pre-coat. It has a high mechanical strength so even in harsh process conditions it will not be deformed.
