Howin TM SMA-700 Functional resin

Product Description

Howin TM SMA-700 is a random copolymer of styrene and maleic anhydride, produced by bulk polymerization process. Its appearance is yellowish transparent particles.

Application

Howin TM SMA-700 includes a mass of maleic anhydride group, which can be applied to:

① As heat resistant modifier for styrene resin, such as PS, AS, ABS and ASA；

② As alloy compatibilizer for styrene resin and polyester (PC, PET), polyamide alloy (PA6, PA66) and PPO alloy；

③ As coupling agent for styrene resin, PPO and glass fiber (AS/GF, ABS/GF)；

④ Improve the adhesiveness of styrene resin and metal；

⑤ Improve the electroplating and stainability of styrene resin；

⑥ As chain extender for polyester (PC, PBT, PET) and polyamide .
