Product Description

HowinTM HW-200M is a kind of multipolymer of polybutadiene rubber, styrene, acrylonitrile, and N-PMI, produced by bulk polymerization. It's opaque yellowish granules.

Application

HowinTM HW-200M contains N-PMI, while the N-PMI has a reaction activity with PA, which makes HW-200M particular suitable as compatilizer for PA/ABS alloy.
As PA/ABS compatilizer, HW-200M can not only improve the toughness of alloy, but also the rigidity. And there is no influence on alloy processability.

As PA/ABS compatilizer, HW-200M not only improves the mechanical property of alloy, but also keeps the flowability.

Figure 9 shows that the dispersion phase of PA/ABS is unevenly distributed and clearly aggregated without compatibilizer,and there is clear phase interface between PA andABS. After adding HW-100M and increasing the dosage, the dispersion phase of PA/ABS becomes more even and phase interface more vague, while the impact strength of alloy can be very high. As shown in the figure 8.

It's mainly used in modified styrene resin and alloy, such as glass fiber reinforced ABS, glass fiber reinforced AS, PC/ABS alloy, PA/ABS alloy, heat resistant ABS and so on, these materials are widely used in automobiles, household appliances and other fields, such as car rear view mirror housing, center stack, rice cooker shell, air conditioner housings etc.
