Hot Melt Adhesive Features

In industrial use, hot melt adhesives provide several advantages over solvent-based adhesives. Volatile organic compounds are reduced or eliminated, and the drying or curing step is eliminated. Hot melt adhesives have long shelf life and usually can be disposed of without special precautions.

The moisture reactive hot melt (PUR & TPU) that undergoes further curing by moisture after solidifying can overcome the normal hot melt adhesive disadvantage of losing bond strength at higher temperatures, can greatly enhance and extend the range of functional performance properties of textiles.

Besides, the reactive hot melt adhesive also has the advantages of lasting elasticity, aging resistance, oil resistance, do not lose thickness during solidifying. Especially, mist performance, neutral color and other various features of PUR makes medical industry application possible.
