Austenitic superalloy A286 can be hardened and strengthened by heat treatment and is used for applications at temperatures up to 1300° F. A286 stainless can also be used for lower stress applications at higher temperatures.

Incoloy A-286 Characteristic
- It is an alloy material with high temperature strength and high temperature oxidation resistance.
- It has high yield strength, endurance and creep strength below 650°CC
- It has good processing plasticity and satisfactory welding performance.
Corrosion resistance
INCOLOY A-286's nickel and chromium content provides corrosion resistance and antioxidant properties. The alloy has excellent oxidation resistance at service temperatures up to approximately 1300°F (700°C).
