Flange check valve is an automatic valve mainly used to prevent the backflow of media. Its working principle is to rely on the flow of the medium itself to control the opening and closing of the valve disc. When the medium flows in a certain direction, the valve disc opens under the action of the medium force; when the medium flows in the opposite direction, the valve disc will automatically close to prevent the medium from flowing back. This kind of valve is widely used in various pipeline systems. It can not only prevent the pump and its driving motor from reversing, but also prevent the leakage of the medium in the container. In addition, flange check valves can also be used on pipelines that supply supply to auxiliary systems where the pressure may rise above the pressure of the main system.
The main functions of flange check valve include:
- Prevent medium backflow: Ensure that the medium flows in the predetermined direction and prevent backflow.
- Prevent the pump and drive motor from reversing: When the pump stops working, prevent the medium from flowing back and causing the pump and motor to reverse.
- Discharge of container medium: When the medium in the container is discharged, prevent the medium from flowing back.
