NickInconel 718 (UNS N07718 / W.Nr.2.4668) forged discs are high-performance nickel-chromium-niobium alloy components, engineered via precision controlled forging and optimized heat treatment for extreme high-stress, moderate-to-high temperature service. As a precipitation-hardened superalloy, its core strength comes from the formation of fine γ'' (Ni₃Nb) and secondary γ' (Ni₃Al/Ti) strengthening phases, delivering unrivaled tensile strength, fatigue resistance, creep/rupture performance and structural stability.
Core Material & Performance Advantages
1. Exceptional High-Strength (Precipitation-Hardened State)
- Room temperature mechanicals: Tensile strength (Rm) 1100–1200 MPa, Yield strength (Rp0.2) ≥965 MPa, far exceeding conventional nickel alloys and stainless steels;
- High-temperature retention: Retains 70%+ of room-temperature strength at 650°C long-term service, with excellent creep and rupture resistance (1000+ hours under rated stress/heat);
- Permanent strength: Precipitation hardening forms stable intermetallic phases, no performance attenuation during long-term service, avoiding structural failure of critical components.
2. Superior Fatigue & Thermal Shock Resistance
- All-around fatigue performance: Excellent high-cycle/low-cycle fatigue and thermal fatigue resistance, adapted to the cyclic mechanical/thermal loads of rotating equipment (turbines, compressors);
- Thermal shock stability: Low thermal expansion coefficient and good thermal conductivity, reducing internal stress under rapid temperature changes, no cracking or deformation;
- High impact toughness: Charpy V-notch impact value ≥60 J at room temperature, retains high ductility even at liquid nitrogen temperature (-196°C), no cold brittleness for cryogenic applications.
