Product Overview
Inconel 625 is a solid-solution strengthened nickel-based superalloy reinforced primarily with molybdenum and niobium, offering exceptional stability in extreme corrosive environments and high-temperature conditions. Inconel 625 forged flanges are manufactured in strict compliance with ASTM B564 / ASME SB564 standards, with material designation UNS N06625 (German standard 2.4856). They are the preferred connection components for critical piping systems in the chemical, marine, aerospace, and nuclear industries.
Thanks to its unique chemical composition design, Inconel 625 flanges achieve high strength without requiring post-weld heat treatment, while maintaining excellent workability and weldability. They can reliably serve in applications ranging from cryogenic temperatures up to 980°C (1800°F).

Core Mechanism: The addition of niobium works synergistically with molybdenum to strengthen the alloy matrix through solid-solution strengthening, enabling Inconel 625 to achieve high strength without requiring precipitation hardening heat treatments.

Temperature Adaptability: Maintains good tensile and fatigue properties from cryogenic -196°C (-320°F) up to 980°C (1800°F). Non-magnetic (permeability ≤1.0006).

  • Cold & Hot Workability: Moderate hardness after solution treatment (≤220 HB) facilitates machining; hot working recommended above 1200°C (2190°F)
  • Formability: Elongation up to 50%, combining high strength with excellent plasticity
