It offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, with reliable performance in acidic and chloride-containing media. The forged thick-wall construction provides high strength and durability for chemical plants, acid processing, flue gas desulfurization and pollution control systems.

Precautions
- Avoid prolonged exposure to highly concentrated oxidizing media.
- Strict temperature control is required during forging and hot forming.
- Solution annealing followed by rapid cooling is recommended after hot working.
- Avoid direct contact with carbon steel during processing, storage and transportation.
- Confirm wall thickness, end dimensions, pressure rating and design temperature before installation.
