ASTM B366 Inconel 625 (UNS N06625) Eccentric Reducer for Offshore Oil & Gas, Subsea Pipelines, Chemical Processing, Seawater Systems and Corrosive-Service Piping
Inconel 625 (UNS N06625) Eccentric Reducer
Inconel 625 (UNS N06625) Eccentric Reducer is a high-performance nickel alloy butt weld fitting manufactured in accordance with ASTM B366 / ASME SB366 requirements and commonly produced to ASME B16.9 dimensional standards. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength and outstanding stability at elevated temperatures, providing superior resistance to chloride corrosion, pitting, crevice corrosion and various aggressive chemical media.
The eccentric design maintains a flat alignment on one side of the piping system, helping prevent liquid accumulation, air pockets and stagnant flow areas. With the outstanding properties of Inconel 625 alloy, these eccentric reducers are widely used in offshore oil & gas platforms, subsea pipelines, chemical processing facilities, seawater systems, petrochemical plants and other severe corrosive-service piping applications.
Key Features
- Excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking.
- Strengthened by niobium and molybdenum, offering high tensile strength and fatigue resistance.
- Provides good weldability for complex piping fabrication.
- Maintains flat alignment, preventing liquid accumulation and gas trapping.
- Suitable for offshore, subsea and chloride-containing environments.
- Designed for reliable long-term service in high-pressure, high-temperature and corrosive applications.
Typical Applications
- Used in offshore platforms, subsea pipelines, production equipment and high-pressure oil & gas systems.
- Suitable for piping systems handling acids, corrosive chemicals and chemical processing equipment.
- Used in refinery units, catalytic systems, corrosive fluid pipelines and process equipment.
- Applied in desalination plants, marine piping and seawater cooling systems.
- Used in high-temperature, high-pressure and corrosion-resistant energy piping systems.
- Applied in flue gas desulfurization, exhaust treatment and corrosive media handling systems.
