JCB160 main safety valve has the following features and functions:

Safety protection

- Overpressure protection: As a key safety device of the hydraulic system, when the system pressure exceeds the set safety value, the main safety valve opens quickly to drain part of the hydraulic oil back to the tank to prevent the system from damaging components due to excessive pressure, such as preventing hydraulic pumps, cylinders, oil pipes, etc. from ruptures and leaks due to overpressure, effectively protecting equipment safety.

Stable pressure:

When the system is working normally, the main safety valve can maintain the system pressure in a relatively stable range, reduce pressure fluctuations, ensure the power output of the hydraulic system is stable, and make the digging, rotation, walking and other actions of JCB160 smoother.

Pilot-operated principle:

It may also be a pilot-operated safety valve, which consists of a main valve and a pilot valve. When the system pressure is normal, the pilot valve is closed, the pressure in the upper chamber of the main valve piston is balanced with the pressure in the lower chamber, and the main valve is closed. When the system pressure exceeds the set pressure of the pilot valve, the pilot valve opens, the pressure in the upper chamber of the main valve is released through the pilot valve, and the pressure in the lower chamber of the main valve pushes the main valve disc to open to achieve pressure relief.
