The Cat 336D fuel pressure sensor is a key component for monitoring the fuel system pressure of the excavator.

Working Principle

    The fuel pressure acts directly on the sensor diaphragm, causing the diaphragm to produce a small displacement proportional to the pressure, thereby changing the sensor resistance. After the electronic circuit detects this change, it converts and outputs a standard signal corresponding to the pressure and transmits it to the engine control unit (ECU).

Function

   The sensor monitors the pressure of the fuel system in real time and converts the pressure signal into an electrical signal and transmits it to the ECU. Based on these signals, the ECU adjusts the fuel injection amount and injection time in real time to ensure the engine's power, economy and emission performance.
