The working principle of the proportional solenoid valve of Komatsu 360-7 hydraulic pump is to control the valve opening based on the balance between electromagnetic force and spring force. When the coil is energized, the electromagnetic force is generated to overcome the spring force, lift the iron core, and open the valve. The signals are collected through the engine speed sensor, hydraulic pump high pressure sensor, etc. The computer board sends instructions to the proportional solenoid valve based on these signals to control the input current signal. The input oil pressure is the pilot pressure oil. The higher the speed, the greater the control current, the smaller the output oil pressure of the proportional solenoid valve, and the greater the pump output flow, so that the hydraulic pump power is basically consistent with the engine speed (power) at any speed.
The main function of this proportional solenoid valve is to accurately adjust the output flow of the hydraulic pump so that the hydraulic system matches the load of the engine. When the working condition of the excavator changes dramatically, it can change the displacement of the hydraulic pump in time to avoid the phenomenon of stalling and black smoke, and ensure that the engine will not stall due to excessive load on the hydraulic system. At the same time, it can also prevent the hydraulic power from being too low, causing the excavator to move slowly, so that the hydraulic system and engine system can reach the best working state.
