1. Wire the sensor base according to the wiring diagram
2. Install the sensor into the sensor base by pushing and turning clockwise
3. Apply power to the control unit after all sensors are installed
4. Test sensors as described in testing procedures
5. Notify proper authorities that the system is operational

The detector must be tested and maintained regularly following NFPA 72 requirements. Clean the detector at least once a year to ensure optimal performance.
