Explosion Proof Infrared Flame Detector 90° Detection Angle IP66 Rated for Petrochemical Plants
Professional infrared flame detection technology designed specifically for petrochemical refineries, chemical plants, and other industrial facilities requiring explosion-proof safety equipment.
Infrared flame detectors utilize advanced sensor technology to identify the unique infrared light signature produced by combustion, providing early warning of potential fire hazards in critical industrial environments.
- Transportation, storage, and production facilities handling flammable materials
- Substation facilities, engine rooms, and power generation environments
- Areas with strict open flame restrictions including liquefied gas stations, garages, and fuel stations
- Harsh environments where conventional detectors may not function effectively
- Not suitable for fires with significant smouldering stages in early development
- Avoid installation near strong arc lights, radioactive materials, or intense infrared radiation sources
- Not recommended for areas with strong air convection or wind speeds consistently above level 3

Green indicator remains steady during normal operation. When fire is detected, red alarm indicator activates steadily while the fire alarm relay closes, making yellow/white wires conductive to output fire alarm signal. This non-coding detector requires interface module connection for bus system integration.
- Red/Black: 24V power lines
- Yellow/White: Alarm relay output (closed, normally open)
- Blue/Green: Fault relay output (open, normally closed)
To ensure optimal performance, conduct flame detector testing at minimum every 3 months. Replace or repair any damaged or malfunctioning units immediately.
