The TX7130 reflective optical beam smoke detector integrates both light transmitter and detector in a single unit. It creates a detection path by reflecting emitted light off a retro-reflector positioned opposite the detector, ensuring minimal light scattering.
During fire conditions, smoke particles entering the beam path absorb or scatter the light, causing decreased signal reception and increased optical obscuration. The detector's processor analyzes these signals using pre-programmed algorithms to determine fire conditions, activating corresponding relays and LED indicators when fire is detected.
