When testing, do not remove any protective film or tags. Be aware of static electricity issues. Before attempting any repair, ground yourself with an ESD (electrostatic discharge) strap to prevent static damage to electronic components. Wear eye protection and be cautious of glass splinters.
Screen replacements are fragile. We strongly recommend testing before installation. Simulate testing by connecting the motherboard + LCD or screen with audio cable to the new replacement and powering on. If test is OK, proceed with installation. If it doesn't display, contact us immediately. We will not be responsible once the screen is installed.
Ensure the LCD cable is not bent over 90 degrees as this may cause black display.
