Cast Steel Continuous and Quick Blowdown Valve
The rapid blowdown valve evolved from gate valve design and utilizes a 90-degree gear rotation mechanism to lift the valve stem for efficient opening and closing operations. This industrial valve combines simple construction with excellent sealing performance while offering compact dimensions, lightweight design, and minimal material consumption.
Operating Principle
The blowdown valve operates using medium pressure force to assist mechanical loading on the valve disc. The primary mechanical load originates from compression springs, providing nearly constant force. While adjustable spring compression ensures reliable sealing, sufficient differential pressure is required to maintain proper seal integrity during normal operation while remaining below opening/closing pressure thresholds for smooth operation.
