Stainless Steel CF8/CF8M Inverted Bucket Steam Trap
The inverted bucket steam trap features a liquid level sensitive component with the bucket opening downward. The connecting lever mechanism drives the valve core to open and close, providing reliable steam pipeline drainage with excellent anti-pollution performance.
Operating Principle
During startup, air and low-temperature condensate enter the trap, causing the inverted bucket to sink and open the valve for rapid discharge. When steam enters, buoyancy lifts the bucket, closing the valve. A small vent hole allows gradual steam release, and as steam condenses, the bucket loses buoyancy and sinks, reopening the valve in a continuous cycle.
