What is polystyrene foam panel?
EPS board (also known as benzene board) is the abbreviation of flexible polystyrene board. A polystyrene foam sheet with a closed cell structure is prepared by heating the exploitable polystyrene beads in a mold after pre-foaming with heating. It is made of raw materials after pre-hair, aging, molding, drying and cutting. It can be made into different density, different shapes of foam products, but also can produce a variety of different thickness of foam sheet.
Advantage:
EPS foam core sandwich panel is very light weighted, the EPS foam is made from crystal polystyrene with more than 90% of air. So EPS sandwich panel is easy to carry & handle.
EPS sandwich panel is a very affordable & inexpensive material, as it consumes just little polystyrene.
EPS sandwich panel has good thermal insulation property, because EPS structure is closed cell & has very low water absorb ratio, making it difficult to conduct heat.
