Product Description:
Disc filter is a kind of continuous vacuum filtration equipment, it is mainly consisted with tank, main shaft, filtrate disc, distribution valve, material stripping device washing unit, drive unit, discharge unit etc.
The filter disc is the core component of disc filter. A special grooved or ridged filter discs formed a certain dimensional channel, it can block the particle size larger than this channel to achieve the purpose of filtration. The disc filter has an excellent performance and lower consumption than traditional mechanical devices.
The structure of ridges on two sides of the disc are different. These ridges consists a block surface to block and store the suspending solids. Open design of ridge external can keep the filter disc tight during the back washing process and ensure the back washing efficient, even if in a low water pressure. Cycled edge ensure the filtrate precision, and form the water channel, which increase the filtration precision to 5μ.

Working Principle:
The filter disc absorbs the slurry through holes by the function of vacuum negative pressure and form piled material layer. The filtrate shall be discharged from inside of filter plate through pipes, distribution valve and discharging tank.
After transferring the cake out of hopper, clean the filter cake and the cleaning can be omitted if not required.
The cake absorbed on the filter disc shall be transferred to the drying area and continue dewatering under vacuum effect.
After the cake dewatered, it transfers to the unloading area, and unload the cake with ceramic drawknife.
