Nails Theory

Corrosion resistance is provided by forming a zinc protective layer on the nail surface. The galvanizing process uses an electrochemical method called electroplating.

Through the galvanizing process, a uniform zinc metal layer is formed on the surface of the nail, which provides corrosion protection for the nail. Zinc has excellent anti-corrosion properties and can chemically react with oxygen and water to form a dense layer of zinc oxide, which further blocks the contact between the nail and the external environment, thereby reducing the occurrence of corrosion.
