Electro Galvanized And Hot Dipped Galvanized Welded Wire Mesh Fencing

    Electro-galvanising and hot dip galvanising are both common surface treatments used to provide rust and weather resistance to welded wire mesh.

Electro-galvanised welded wire mesh: this type of welded wire mesh is electro-galvanised, i.e. the welded wire mesh is immersed in an electrolyte solution containing zinc, and a zinc layer is deposited on the surface of the welded wire mesh by the action of an electric current. Electro-galvanising provides a uniform coating of zinc which effectively prevents the metal parts of the welded wire mesh from coming into contact with outside oxygen and water, thus reducing the risk of rust and corrosion.
   Hot Dip Galvanised Welded Wire Mesh: This welded wire mesh is hot dip galvanised, whereby the welded wire mesh is immersed in preheated molten zinc, which causes the zinc to chemically react with the metal parts of the welded wire mesh to form a strong zinc-iron alloy layer. Hot dip galvanising provides a more durable and stronger protective layer and is suitable for use in locations with more severe environmental conditions, such as marine environments or high humidity.
   Whether it is electro-galvanised or hot dip galvanised welded wire mesh, they are both effective in extending the service life of welded wire mesh  and provide good resistance to rust. The choice of finish depends on the specific application and requirements.
