Production process
Usually includes main processes such as steelmaking, hot rolling, acid washing, cold drawing, annealing, etc. Firstly, the raw materials are subjected to steelmaking to obtain stainless steel billets with the required composition. Then, the steel billet is processed into wire rods of a certain specification through hot rolling, followed by acid washing to remove the oxide scale on the surface of the wire rods. Afterwards, the diameter of the steel wire is further reduced through cold drawing process to improve its strength and surface quality. During the cold drawing process, annealing treatment is required to eliminate internal stress in the steel wire, improve its microstructure and properties. After these processes, surface treatment is carried out according to different purposes, such as electroplating, coating, etc., to improve the corrosion resistance and decorative properties of stainless steel wire.
