What Are Head Boards for Bundle Conductors?
Head boards, also known as conductor spacers or guiding boards, are designed to align and separate multiple conductors in a bundle configuration. A bundle conductor consists of two or more individual conductors grouped together to improve the efficiency of power transmission by reducing electrical losses, corona discharge, and radio interference. The head boards are typically mounted at the front of the bundle during stringing to guide the conductors along the transmission route.
