The working principle of the rotary drum dryer:
is to allow liquid or slurry materials to form a thin film on the drum surface heated by water vapor or other heat carriers. The drying is completed during the drum rotation. The product is scraped off with a scraper, and the exposed drum surface contacts the raw material again and forms a thin film for drying.

The rotary drum dryer is a cylindrical body with a slightly inclined main body and adjustable speed within a specific range. The wet material is fed into the drum by the feeder. Under the turning of the evenly distributed scraper in the inner drum, the material is evenly distributed and dispersed in the dryer and fully contacts with the hot air (cocurrent or countercurrent) passing through the drum, which accelerates the drying heat transfer and mass transfer, thereby achieving the purpose of drying.
