1 . Descriptions:
Scrubber tower, also known as spray tower or gas scrubber tower, is a type of equipment used to purify and treat waste gas. It plays a critical role in an industrial water treatment purification system, where it contacts gas through liquid spraying to absorb or remove pollutants such as dust, acid mist, and gaseous pollutants. The exhaust gas enters the tower from the bottom or side of the scrubber tower and flows upward, passing through a multi-layer spraying device. The spray liquid, often water, lye, or another absorbent, is sprayed from the top to make inverse contact with the ascending exhaust gas. The selection of the spray liquid depends on the type of pollutants in the exhaust gas, enhancing the efficiency of the industrial water treatment purification system.
During the process of contact between the spray liquid and the exhaust gas, pollutants are captured either through physical absorption or chemical reactions. These captured pollutants flow into the collection tank at the bottom of the tower along with the spray liquid. The purified gas is then discharged from the top of the scrubber tower into the atmosphere or sent for further treatment. This system ensures that the scrubber tower integrates seamlessly with an industrial water treatment purification system, contributing to effective waste gas and water treatment.
