The raw materials of sintered zircon corundum bricks (hereinafter referred to as sinteredAZS bricks) are alumina and zircon. Generally speaking, the content of ZrO 2 is controlled at 15%-30%. The main crystal phases are mullite, corundum and zircon. In very pure raw materials, the glassy phase content can be less than 5%.

Sintered zircon corundum brick advantages:

Sintered AZS bricks have less impurities, and the softening temperature of aluminum zirconium products is generally above 1550-1650 degrees.

4 Chemical resistance
Aluminium-zirconium refractory products have good resistance to acid or alkaline slag, corrosion of molten metal, and oxidation and reduction reactions, and are enhanced with the increase of AL203 content and the reduction of harmful impurity content.
