Babcock Gerber Butyrometer Milk Centrifuge Machine Fat Separation
The Gerber centrifuge is RZ-50 primarily used in the dairy industry for determining the fat content of milk. It is also used for other applications besides milk testing. It is commonly used for separating various types of fluids, such as blood, urine, and industrial fluids, into their component parts. The device is also used in the pharmaceutical industry to separate and purify proteins, enzymes, and other biomolecules.
The Geber milk fat centrifuge is designed for the determination of dairy fat. The instrument can test milk fat using four methods: Geber method, Ross method, Pasteur method and solubility method. With a heating function to ensure that the temperature of the milk fat tube is maintained above 50°C during centrifugation, which not only reduces the sample water bath time, but also makes the test results more reliable.
Design
● Metal housing, metal lid, and 304# stainless steel centrifuge chamber are autoclave-able and resistant detergents and disinfection liquids.
● Observations window on lid for speed calibration and noise measurement.
● Microprocessor control with frequency conversion A.C. motor drive.
● Large color screen can display rotor number, speed time, temperature, centrifugal force, acceleration and deceleration rate as well as fault information.
● Double layers sealing ring made for the centrifuge lid and the instrument to keep long good sealing.
User friendly
● Adopt ring heater, heating quickly, uniform temperature, with temperature control and constant temperature function, to meet the experimental requirements of the temperature of the centrifuge.
● Centrifuge tube sampling special technology made of glass centrifuge tube will not break during operation.
● With fault self-diagnosis system, can automatically detect over-speed, over-heated, unbalanced alignment fault, and display fault information in the display window to improve the safety performance of the instrument.
● Noise level lower than 58 decibel at the highest rotational speed.

● Safety Electrical lid interlock,door can not open when rotor is running and machine won’t run when lid open and error code appears.
● Emergency lid-lock release when power failure.
● Gas hinge for lid drop protection.
