The ICAO standard passport scanner is a compact, fast and multifunctional OCR reader based on OCR technology. This Document Reader is ideal for various applications such as immigration, border control, airports, harbors, state borders, hotel registration and Airlines , Aviation , banks , money exchange houses , hospitals , clinics , hotels hospitality , travel agency , typing centers , service centers- generally everywhere.
This ICAO standard passport scanner can read 2-line and 3-line MRZs from passports, ID cards, machine-readable visas and ICAO9303 travel documents, keep a copy of identification on file, and verify the authenticity of various documents. Our passport reader (ID card or VISA reader) devices capture the document in white, IR and UV image, read essential information such as name, data of birth, gender, document number, date of expiry and etc. from the captured image.
Recognition Process
A.The APR5300(i) device captures white, infrared,UV image . Which can also decodes the machine readable zone (MRZ) and RFID to get information of name,nationality,gender, date of birth,etc.
B.Generally Speaking, it will take about 2 seconds to capture the images and extract the printed data through OCR technology.
