Recognition Process
Passport Reader is a multi-purpose automatic ID document Reader based on advanced OCR technology. It can automatically capture data from ICAO compliant and Non-ICAO travel documents, including passport, e-passport, visa, Biometric Residence Permit, ID card and driver license. In a single operation, the Reader captures the OCR-B code lines from all Machine Readable Travel Documents which confirm with the International standard specified by ICAO Document 9303. This covers Machine Readable Passports(MRP), Visas(MRV) and OCR-B encoded cards such as various national ID cards. MRZ(machine readable zone) encrypts the basic ID info of ID holder, such as name, ID number, gender, nationality, birthday... Instead of manually fill in the registration form, Passport Reader could extract all data within 1 second and automatically fill the registration form. Passport Reader provides an ideal solution for fast identity registration. It is also an ideal choice for self-service machine used by public sector.
