Properties: the amorphous powder of peacock green fine particles, with a density of 3.85200c, decomposes, insoluble in cold water and alcohol, soluble in acid and forms the corresponding copper salt, and soluble in the aqueous solution of cyanide, sodium hydroxide, ammonium salt and alkali carbonate to form the copper complex When boiling in alkali metal carbonate solution, brown copper oxide is formed and decomposed into black copper oxide at 200C. Unstable in hydrogen sulfide atmosphere. The solubility in water is 0.0008%, and its decomposition temperature is 200C.
